Mostly today I’ve been thinking I don’t like how hot it is! ๐
Of course it’s impossible not to think about the Manchester Bombing, but my thoughts on that are not so much the incident but the awful news reporting that goes on ad infinitum, as they always do when an incident happens. I find it annoying, they seem to be wallowing in it, interviewing anyone and everyone in a 50 mile radius, a reporter in every town that has a victim, people crying, talking heads, on and on ad nauseam. It even has me writing latin phrases and that is never good for me. I am sympathetic to anyone involved, and appreciate the praise given to the emergency services and all the people who stepped up and helped, but I think this on going news thing only encourages the suicide bombers/ISIS, they must love all this exposure. ย Anyway enough, I will rant all night if I don’t stop now ๐
Did I say I don’t like this gas mark 10 effect going on? ย From 16 C (60.8 USA ๐ ) to 28C (82F) in the space of 2 days, ย ย I need acclimatisation times!
I’ve been thinking of photography too, got my rollei film shots back, and also went out down the beach and shot a new roll on it, love it ๐ More on that tomorrow.
I took my fuji with me but only used it to take a shot of my old pal Frego. She wanted to go surfing but there wasn’t any!
I also managed a couple of ย birdy shots this week, my Happy Eater tree is doing big business!
Feed me now Seymour!

Oh Fraggy how can you keep us waiting to see your film results!!!! Not nice at all. They’re going to be fabulous. BTW super shots here. You know I LOVE hot & humid weather so no sympathy from me on that topic ๐

Great to see Frego back.
I know what you mean about news coverage. On ‘Look East’ tonight, they managed to trawl up a Manchester Bombing story from ‘our region’. Turns out the mother of a vagrant who ‘cuddled a victim’ or something similar, lives in Norfolk. She hasn’t seen her son for over 5 years, but of course she was ‘delighted’ that he helped a victim. An appeal on Facebook raised ยฃ48,000 for the bloke, (Why?) Now Mum is travelling to Manchester to see him, which will be reported from here. (And probably funded by the BBC local news too.)
Now that’s just obscene. Wallowing is the right word.
It has been uncomfortably hot today, but I am not complaining, as I know it won’t last. This is England, After all.
Best wishes, Pete.

You are right about this news coverage and I don’t even have to watch it on TV.

I’d be happy to take some of your hot weather off of your hands – the last week has been chilly for us this time of year.
