Friday Film Shot

On to my 2nd roll of film shot in the Rolleiflex SL66 and this time I used Kodak Portra 400.  I took it with me to Saltwell Park, so regular readers will have seen the same more or less with on the Fraggle Report I did on the other blog,

I also took some pictures at Whitby Abbey but I’ll post them after I’ve done the fuji report from there.

  1. Maybe I’m old and therefore biased. But these real film shots have superb quality. And for me, they blow digital out of the proverbial water! Love them!
(Where do you get them processed? And is it terribly expensive? How do you get them onto your blog? Scanning?)
Sorry for all the questions, but I don’t have a clue! 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. I get them processed by digitalab in Newcastle and then they scan the negatives onto discs for me so I can upload. One day I may get into doing them myself, but I haven’t got time with everything else going on in life!

  2. The Rollei does a great job . . . or was it you? Isn’t it the camera that takes the picture?? It’s unfortunate it costs so much to process and scan the pictures. I pay to have mine processed, but scan them myself, both 35mm and 120mm. What is the lens on the Rollei?

  3. Oh Fraggy these are simply gorgeous. Portra 400 has the best colours. As far as processing yourself you have to decide what your time is worth and for me, I’d rather be out shooting!
