There isn’t much good to say about waking up at 2.30am, coughing til 5am and then getting up because a) you’re so BORED with it and b) upright is the only way to not cough. I am expecting Rick Grimes to turn up and stick a sharp stake through my head at any minute. But it does mean I get to see the frosticles on the conservatory window and take photographs, so there is that.
Do embiggen if you can to see the details, they are amazing I think.
Theses are amazing Fraggy. It’s so cold here it’s 4 degrees and god only knows with the wind chill. Everything is closed . I cant find any ice on my windows , after seeing these .. believe me I was looking 🙂
I’m sorry your still coughing 😦 r u sure u don’t have pneumonia? Feel better my friend. Xxxx

No it’s just a really bad cough & cold that’s doing the rounds, Phil has it too, though not as bad. I keep hearing on the news about the big freeze across USA, am surprised it isn’t your bit!

I’m not loving it today, we’re at 3C and that’s bad enough for me!

I’d give anything for it to b 37 . That is manageable for me . But thus negative stuff is for the birds. I’ve convinced Dave, next year fir Feb. we r going to Fl. For a month

Great pictures, Fraggy. I remember these from when I was a kid in the sticks of nowhere, even with the storm windows. On a different topic, stay home and get well. And see a doctor sooner rather than later . . . we don’t want anything to happen to you!

We have some lovely frost on the trees, but there was nothing on the windows. Great shots indeed. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

I’ll be fine Naomi, it takes about 2-3 weeks to get a Dr’s appointment here, so I’ll be better before I’d get there!

But if you were really sick, you have emergency services, right?

Yes we have hospitals and ER’s but not for coughs and colds 🙂 Also there are ‘walk-in centres’ in some places, which are staffed with a couple of nurses and a doc, and you can be seen on the day. But so can anyone so you could be waiting a long time before it’s your turn.

Oh, I’ve fallen so far behind with this site, Fraggle… I am so sorry you aren’t well. I know that kind of cough too well. I’ve had to bury my face in a towel so as not to wake the neighbors. (I’m in a row house with brick walls that amplify sound rather than block it.) Ginger helps me a lot. A cup of ginger tea before bed. And ginger candies help me more than any medicinal cough drop. That’s just me.
Hugs on the wing.

I’ve been doing the towel thing so as not to wake up the hub 🤣 I’ll have to try the ginger tea, but too late now. Never worry about ‘falling behind’ you’ve enough on your plate! Hugs back!

I’m hoping this image will show for you. The candies that are so helpful to me are called Gin Gins, and the company is The Ginger People. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61d65r8hJ4L._SX522_.jpg Cheers.
