A friend of mine taught me how to look after that particular type of orchid and I’ve never looked back. Water them once a week and don’t let them stand in the water once they’ve had their fill. Repotting them and removing the dead ‘roots’ is a bit of a pig, but you only have to do it once every three or four years.
Looks a bit like an ‘Alien’, close up. Don’t kill it, or its ‘friends’ will come and get you. 🙂
