Nice work on the photos, Fraggle. It had to be a challenge to get the lighting right in a stairwell.
Ugh… nothing involving tools is ever easy — I can relate. With all the stair climbing I did the past ten years, I recognize the importance of that banister. Kudos to Phil.
I’m still grateful to finally be in a place with no stairs! Before I had a dozen leading to the front door. Then three levels (not a big place, just use of vertical space) — and no bathroom on the living level. So with my teensy bladder, I was constantly on the stairs. Hugs on the wing!
