A critter is anything that is alive. Children are critters, vermin are critters, critters are critters. I’m a critter, you’re a critter, wouldn’t you like to be a critter, too? Critter = creature.
Are they ‘critters’, (eggs) or seeds? I don’t know enough about plants to comment. (It’s sharp though)
