A few weeks ago, on one of my weekly shopping trips to ASDA (deep joy π) I was checking out the plants and orchids when I spotted this thing, called a ‘Dinosaur Plant’. Now who in their right mind can resist a dinosaur plant especially at Β£4.50 ($5) ? Well not me obviously. Of course I googled dinosaur plant and there are several, none of which look anything like mine, which appears to be some sort of cactus/succulent. Anyhoo no matter, so far it has survived my ministrations, and at the beginning of this week it produced a long stalk growing up from it’s middle, with leafyish bits at the top of the stalk. Not sure if this is going to be a flower or baby plantlets. Stay tooned, and we’ll all find out. How exciting my life is! π€£
Day 202

Do NOT overwater your succulent! They don’t like that. These are often found in people’s gardens out here where I live . . . .not common, but seen. They are a dark green with whitish spots. If I see one in my neighborhood, I’ll try to remember to snap it so you can see it au naturel, kinda.

That would be cool. Do you call it a dinosaur plant? What is the thing growing out of it? More info please π

I like the look of it. Spiky, and mean. π
Best wishes, Pete.

It’s deceptive Pete, when I pull it out to water it the spikes are quite soft, so it looks meaner than it really is. A bit like me really π€£π€£π€£

Ooh! This is going to be fun. I looked it up ion Wikipedia and it looks like quite the interesting plant to raise. One thing for sure, itβll survive anything the wonky climate will throw at it.
