Within the next fortnight both my Boss (and friend) Brenda and I are both having a ‘significant’ birthday. One of those that ends in an 0. Also That one that begins with 6. Sigh. Never mind, can’t do much about it so just have to grin and bear it. Sigh.
So our office manager Lynn surprised us both with presents today! A picture of each of us for our offices. I am putting the colour versions in the post too as they are so cool!

What an AWESOME gift from your boss! So well done and funny. I just love them!
In July, I turned 57. As someone who always felt aging wasn’t something I’d stress about, I had a near breakdown. Ha! But after a lot of soul searching and a few tears, now I’m of the mind that aging is about finding acceptance while not giving up.
And the not giving up thing is definitely something you’ve mastered. Your energy and dedication to your creative practice is inspiring and meaningful. I truly admire you.
