Phil and I met up with his sister and her hubby and had lunch in the Red Lion at Boldon, very nice and reasonably priced. I took my camera with me incase anything interesting showed up.
This is a decoration in the restaurant, not sure what it’s all about!
No petrol required!
That bodice and dress made from twigs looks a bit ‘scratchy’!
Was the horse and buggy man a local gypsy?
Best wishes, Pete.

Yes I wouldn’t want to wear it! The horse and buggy man is a horse and buggy lady, possibly a gypsy but there’s no camps around here. Some farmers use them I think.

Hmm. That decoration in the first picture looks like it would be a mite uncomfortable.

I must try and find out which one creates the most CO2 (and methane) a horse or a electric cat. A serious consideration in this day and age π

You done have to plug a horse in though so better for electrical savings. π not sure how much hay costs but you can grow it so probably not as much as electricity these days.

The horse and buggy made me think of Peaky Blinders immediately!
Bit obsessed with it these days!
Loved these pics.
That dress set on fire brings a whole new meaning to Fierypants, huh?
