You may remember my post on Phils labour of love tank from a couple of weeks ago, if not it’s at https://fragglesotherplace.com/2019/10/02/day-275-on-tenacity/
anyhoo, it’s coming along and Phil has more or less finished the ground floor of the interior. A fair bit of it he has had to scratch build from plasticard and the like. I do like the little seat he has installed. There’s a lot more to go in yet, and as bonkers as it sounds not much of it will be on view, or even be able to be viewed when it’s all finished. Which is why I’ll take photo’s along the way!
you can click on it to embiggen and see all the mad little details if you are interested.
Wow! It’s coming along real nice!

Wait, he does all that interior work and then seals the whole thing up?

In this case it’s an open top vehicle so some of it will be seen from certain angles but not all of it. Modellers are bonkers kinda people 🤣🤣

Tell him well done from me, FR.
If I had the merest fraction of his patience and tenacity, I suspect that my life might be a lot easier than it is.
Best wishes, Pete.

Nah, striving for perfection isn’t easy for him, I know because of all the swearing that goes on. 🙄

It’s a bit like the medieval cathedral masons who continued the decoration they put on blocks of stone even if it was going to be invisible to most people inside the building.
