We’ve been over to Shelley’s this afternoon for a buffet tea, Carl and his little ones came too. We had some lovely food, the kids played nice, we grown ups chatted on, and I got a couple of pics of the day.
Yay today I got a 200 followers notice for this blog! 🤣 Although really there’s only a few regulars that comment here.. (thanks loads Pete, Kim, Michel, Naomi, April & Eddy) so what the rest of youse are up to is anyones guess 😀
Today it was lovely to see the munchkins again as it’s been a while since they visited.
Mum Shelley has kept them busy over the school holidays and is relieved they’re going back to school next week! Liddy will be joining Cal at ‘big school’, she’s really looking forward to it too.
A bit more footage of Harry, at least we think it’s Harry, could be a different one really, they all look alike 😀 I think this video is clearer than yesterdays, though still need some positioning refinement I think.
It has been a busy day at Fraggle Towers We’ve had some visitors,
Carl with Matthew and Livvy, though the lads were on the x-box so didn’t see much of them 🙂
The sun was out today and summer hit us slap in the face, temperature in our conservatory was 40 degs C when we got up this morning! After Carl left I took my bike out for a spin, and did a half hour getting-to-know-you-again session, I can change gears now 🙂
It was hot though and I should have gone later when it was cooler as I was overheating when I got home!
This evening the other grandkids have come for a stopover and day out with us tomorrow, though they don’t know that bit yet or they’d be too excited to sleep 🙂
We did a bar-B-Q for t hem for their tea (dinner if you must)
according to Liddy it was the best Bar-B-Q in the world!
After tea (dinner) we all went for a walk
And then came home for more playing
And now it’s quite late, they’ve had a bath (the best bath in the world according to Liddy) had a story and settled into bed. Phil and I can now go and celebrate our Wedding Anniversary by flaking out in front of the TV with a bottle of something that has –percent proof written on it!
Our grandchildren accept us for ourselves, without rebuke or effort to change us, as no one in our entire lives has ever done, not our parents, siblings, spouses, friends, and hardly ever our own grown children. (Unknown quote).
