Hmm, if this is day 363, then 365 will be on 30th December, and as I started this on Jan 01, I should be doing my last one on Dec 31st. ๐ณ Dang it, will have to check and see if I’ve mislabelled one.
In the meantime, back to the Land of The Giants
Day 363 (maybe) The Pastry Portals to Vollyvont Land.
It’s dark so early now since the clocks went back, by 4pm we’re pulling the curtains and putting the lights on. Consequently if I don’t manage a daytime shot at work, I am having to resort to playing in the shed. I have been inspired lately of photos of mini buildings, and thought I might try incorporating that into my Land of the Giants series, which has gone by the wayside a bit.
Whatever bugs Phil has had have been passed on to me so am not a happy bunny. Never mind, hopefully I will feel better tomorrow for the next outing with Sophie. I was going to say at least it’s stopped raining, but here it comes again
Back in the Jurassic era, when I was 9 years old, the best thing to come on to the TV was an American programme called The Land of The Giants. I loved it. It was about a spaceship and crew from Earth crash landing on an unnamed planet, which was peopled by, well, giant people, just like humans. I fell in love with Gary Conway, one of the stars, and I imagine all the chaps fell in love with Deana Lund, a bit of a hot babe for those times.
Here’s the trailer for it which should give you a giggle, no CGI back then!
